Lane Kiffin OUT As 'Bama OC, Sark Will Be OC Vs Clemson
Kiffin is out as Alabama OC one week before the championship game. Nick Saban says it was "mutual", but it doesn't sound like it.

His playcalling against UW was pretty awful. Kiffen was UW's MVP.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

Yeah, most ESPN Analysts are saying that's part of it. Kiffin also was left behind - again, when he showed up late for a team bus recently. Also, Kiffin was asked in an interview before the UW game what his favorite time at Alabama was and he replied something like "none, really".pezsez1 wrote:His playcalling against UW was pretty awful. The general thought is that he and Saban's relationship has run its course, but to end it during championship game week is pretty bizarre.

This is probably a massive NCAA violation that won't be investigated and I'm amazed Clemson hasn't said anything at least through a back channel.
Sarkisian has not been a coach at Alabama until this very moment. He has been an analyst. This means he can't be an on field coach and it's very likely that in his time as analyst they skirted the rules and this sudden promotion would imply as much.

As long as Sark wasn't out recruiting or coaching players what other rules could have been broken?
