I don't know how I will cope if UW somehow wins the championship. Lots of booze I suppose.

Lol there is no way they can win I can assure you that. They got worked by Bama last year and that team was way better then this team.

I didn't think there was any way Washington could get into the playoff this year, but if they win out I think they have a great shot. There's going to be a lot of carnage coming down the stretch.

Exactly. Kind of a big "if," though, fortunately. It would mean winning at Stanford this Friday, beating WSU in the Apple Cup in Seattle two games later with the Cougars having had a bye just before, and then probably having to beat USC (who seems suddenly resurgent, especially on offense) in the CCG. It could happen, but will be difficult.
