I think most Nebraska fans and the athletic administration realize how far they dropped with Riley at the helm so they'll give him a few seasons to turn it around. It'll take some time to get some athletes who fit his offense and defense.

Some really high profile first year coaches have looked just awful this year. I can't remember such a poor showing at so many high profile schools all at the same time.
