As has been discussed elsewhere, not necessarily easy to root for either of these teams in this game. I might pick the Irish just because they're at home.

I'd rather root for Stanford. Non-Conference game especially against ND, I will generally pick Pac-12 (unless it's Washington).

Love on a 39 yard run ties it up, 7-7.

I'm still disgusted at Brian Kelly over the death of Declan Sullivan.
I'm afraid we might have beaten Stanford up too much last week but we'll see.

Did you giggle as uncontrollably typing that as I did reading it? The thought of Oregon physically manhandling anyone, let alone Stanford, still takes some getting used to.Duck07 wrote:I'm still disgusted at Brian Kelly over the death of Declan Sullivan.

Yeah we've got to prove it tonight but Stanford just looks a half step behind right now. During the Hee-Hawks run a few years ago it was a real thing to suffer a Seattle Hangover the next week because of the physicality of the games.
That's what happens when you thoroughly dominate both sides of the ball/los.This became a trend. One game became two, two became three, and by the end of the regular season, the final 10 teams the Seahawks played during the regular season that had a game the following week all lost those “hangover week” games. Ten times in a row, a team played the Seahawks and struggled to answer the bell the following week. That doesn’t seem to be a fluke.

It went about as I expected. Body blow theory in full effect. It's just too bad it wasn't a conference loss for them

Stanford looks like they could wind up with a couple losses in conference play. Ducks still have a shot at the north, for sure.
