If the Trojans end up winning, #3 & #4 , will have lost...chaos! #2 Clemson is leading South Carolina, 28-21, just starting the 2nd half.

Poor clock management at the end of the quarter costs the Irish. Notre Dame recovered a fumble on their own 15 yard line, with 1:00 to go and 3 timeouts. They don't play with any urgency, use no timeouts, end up with a hail mary that ends up with a catch at the USC 3, as time runs out.

A quick drive gives Notre Dame its first lead, 14-10, 7:03 in the 3rd.Interception in the end zone keeps the Trojans in the game, 17-10, 7:50, 4th quarter.

3rd & 6, 51 yard TD pass should wrap up the game and Notre Dame's place in the playoff, lead, 24-10, 3:09 in the 4th quarter.

I can't remember, exactly how bad it was, but USC has definitely had closing games issues, this one, Notre Dame has put up 24 unanswered, (17) in the 2nd half. UCLA put up 13. There have been 6 games where USC had a halftime lead and ended up losing 5 of them. Trojans just scored a TD, to make this one, 24-17.
