News keeps coming. More on NDSUs NFL prospects

Image

Isaiah Coulter was the sole FCS wide receiver selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. Although it’s early in the 2021 cycle, several receivers are already receiving draft buzz, including Montana’s Samori Toure and Cade Johnson of South Dakota State. North Dakota State WR Christian Watson may just be the most exciting of them all.

Where the NFL Draft is concerned, there is something in the water in Fargo, North Dakota.

Despite seeing just one player drafted during the 1990s, there has been a consistent pipeline from the perennial NCAA FCS Champions to the NFL since the turn of the millennium. Eleven players from the Bison have heard their names called, with defensive dominator Derrek Tuszka the most recent.

MIDAS GOES DOWN

For those of you doubting the ability of game models like the GAM to sort out the miss-priced propositions last week was a record breaking loss for the sports books
The nearly quarter-million dollars in winning wagers reportedly placed at MGM Resorts last Sunday might be the largest sportsbook loss in Las Vegas history on bets made after an event has started.

Seven longtime Las Vegas bookmakers can’t recall a larger loss, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. But each oddsmaker has taken hits on past posts and said it’s a fairly common occurrence at books.
That my friends is why the GAM works.

The GAM finds those posts that lead to big losses for Vegas. You can’t do it consistently, if at all, if you are just guessing. You need a system to clear your vision.

How does them struggling prove that one of these could have predicted it?

The point is they make mistakes. The mistake made last week was failing to close the betting window when the event started. If they can make a bonehead mistake like that they can and do miss-price propositions. To identify which games are miss-priced you need a reliable measure. The GAM is that measure.

On basic “bet the board” there are hundreds of opportunities every week in college football. Last year out of the games we ran we found less than 30 we acted on, 1 or 2 per week. We watched winner, spread and over/under.

There may be no actionable propositions on this game especially if the juice stays at 20. We expect a chance to pick the upset for great odds on an NDSU in line but sure would like a chance on a miss priced slam dunk on the over/under or spread Oregon can’t cover to hedge the upset pick.

As the thread title might suggest it’s a thread about the NDSU @ Oregon game. As you can see It’s basically an RSS feed on this game and events surrounding it. Some editorial comment is thrown in. It’s really not that diffIcult. No response required or expected.

8-)

One funny thing. Oregon fans have the game thread to over 46,000 hits on bisonville.com.

Talk or listen. Ducks quack in Fargo.

What % of the posts are your's ? give me a GAM breakdown of that thread please. I need all statistical information on that thread so that I can properly predict the value of bisonville.

When a valuation is made for fair market value as you suggest you are doing with bisonville it’s an opinion not a prediction. GAM results are not predictions either. They show how the teams stack up based on their statistical profile.

Right now The BISON are +6 to the Ducks. O/U is 58 mythical score NDSU BISON 26 Ducks 32. We are waiting on MIDAS to see if there is any value from that observation.

I’ll make predictions based on the GAM results game week.

I don’t post on BisonVille. I Only use The BISON to make money with the GAM. Your the only ones bitter about news on your opponents. It seems like most of you are threatened and defensive. It’s a football game.

I’m like everybody else that cheers the underdog. Knowing little or nothing about the Ducks and having little connection with NDSU I am able to enjoy the game spectacle without rancor.

For me The GAM is the game and right now the game the GAM is focused on is NDSU @ OREGON. We expect some good opportunities to be presented and you will make your money, if there is any to be made, withThe BISON.

GO BISON!!!
