Post by Oregon Ownage »

East

1. Pacers (Previous Rank: 3)
Buyers: Solidify back end of rotation and upgrade at backup PG

2. Celtics (Previous Rank: 1)
Buyers: With limited cap space, can they upgrade their bench?

3. 76ers (Previous Rank: 6)
Buyers: Upgrade/backup at PG and bench scorer

4. Bulls (Previous Rank: 5)
Sellers?: Talks have highlighted them being sellers but with a chance at a title, could they also be buyers?

5. Nets (Previous Rank: 2)
Buyers: Need help defensively

6. Bucks (Previous Rank: 4)
Holding steady: The arrivals of Morris & Kukoc signal their business already concluded

7. Pistons (Previous Rank: 7)
Sellers: Team has outperformed their GM's expectations so they will look to continue selling off assets in bid for future pieces

8. Magic (Previous Rank: 9)
Buyers: Can they upgrade at PG before the deadline? They also have a huge hole at SF

9. Bullets (Previous Rank: 8)
Holding Steady: Not many movable assets so it will be quiet in DC over the next couple of days

10. Cavaliers (Previous Rank: 10)
Buyers: Backup PG, starting SG and backup bigs. Alot of gaps but with mountains of cap space, they could turn things around quickly

11. Hornets (Previous Rank: 12)
Holding Steady: Team is still trying to find their identity and of moves are made, they will be in the summer

12. Hawks (Previous Rank: 11)
Sellers: Could they move Bowie before the deadline? Rumblings that he wants out of the ATL

13. Raptors (Previous Rank: 14)
Sellers: Publicly communicated that they have players readily available with the executives hopeful they can secure another top 2 pick

14. Knicks (Previous Rank: 13)
Sellers: Smaller pieces are available but not top end players

15. Heat (Previous Rank: 15)
Sellers: Could Tucker & Paxson be moved? Salaries will be tough to match

West

1. Suns (Previous Rank: 1)
Buyers: Shore up end of rotation

2. Mavericks (Previous Rank: 2)
Buyers: Improve backend of the roster

3. Grizzlies (Previous Rank: 3)
Buyers: Flip Nance into multiple depth pieces

4. Spurs (Previous Rank: 6)
Hold Steady: Need to shore up leaky defense

5. Trailblazers (Previous Rank: 5)
Buyers/Sellers/Hold Steady: They could go any direction. Will be fun to watch

6. Rockets (Previous Rank: 8)
Buyers: Backup PG

7. Clippers (Previous Rank: 9)
Hold Steady: Team has been reluctant to make moves in recent seasons so I dont expect anything

8. SuperSonics (Previous Rank: 7)
Buyers: Backup PG & scoring guard off the bench

9. Jazz (Previous Rank: 4)
Sellers: Collapsed recently after a strong run of form. Expect an overhaul come the summer

10. Timberwolves (Previous Rank: 11)
Hold Steady: Full strength finally so finding a rotation that works will be top priority

11. Warriors (Previous Rank: 10)
Sellers: Quality SG's on expirings that can help contenders

12. Kings (Previous Rank: 12)
Sellers: Shot blocking big could be available and smaller pieces

13. Lakers (Previous Rank: 13)
Sellers: 2 post players and veteran PG are available

14. Nuggets(Previous Rank: 14)
Sellers: Maximize assets to help tank this season and future moves
