I think this is way below market value for Walker, it looks like a salary dump

I think the protection is unnecessary. If that wasn't there, it would be better.

I asked for two seconds if you asked, people didn't bite so 1st with protection that will never fire and caproom is what the market had for me.

I thought Vetoes were reserved for new or inexperienced GMs. I’ve seen much worse go through. I don’t think this changes competitive balance significantly either.

Noone has mentioned veto on this until you just did. What are you implying?

Vetos are for everyone. Just bc you are not new it doesnt give you free roam to make whatever trades you want.

If a new GM posts this, there is uproar bc this is clearly a salary dump for a very good player with a minimal return.

Then when i clearly stated i wanted 2 1sts for im in our discussions counts for nothing? I took a first and freed up a full max easily worth a first. I have been clear on my demand for him by any that asked. I'm a founding GM making a move for the good of the team for the long term by opening up a max for free agency.

To me this falls under the category of I wouldn’t make that deal but to each their own. A veteran GM is making a deal to put himself in a better spot in his eyes knowing full well how this league works and the consequences.

Considering the two individuals involved I don't think it's even close to veto worthy. You can't veto something because the market is stale.
Zyme and Lukey have been in the league since the beginning and have shown that they know how it works.

This. Micromanaging every GM's move, specifically vets, should not be a thing. You make your own bed once you're old enough.
