BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM

First blockbuster trade in DASL 2.0

I break it down as:

Bird

for

Woolridge
Lakers lottery pick this year
Lakers 86st first

Alot will depend on where the Lakers pick will land this year but it does seem like a slightly better deal for the Lakers. I envisioned Bird going for more (another future pick or prospect) so this is a win for the Lakers to beat other teams for Birds services.

Nm my last statement, I love this for the Lakers. Wilkins and Bird are an amazing one two punch. Loses a potential #1, got great value in drafting Woolridge and the 86 pick could be a late first if he makes the right moves.

Like it for Celtics too, decided to go the other way and potential #1 pick for Bird along with a great talented player. Good value

To me its potentially Sampson vs Bird. I fall on the Celtics side as I think that Bird's TOs make him somuch the less than he could be.

Bird and Nique is such an interesting combo. Hard to pass up

And that is a decent haul for the Celtics. I’d probably have waited until day 100 just to make the Lakers pick a bit worse but basically a guaranteed top 5 pick, woolridge and 2 other picks is decent return

But I just traded for my pick and I want my pick to be worse.

Yea, hopefully Larry can stop whipping the ball into the stands on every other pass...

I would have been totally fine to tank it out and try to luck into Sampson/Drexler, but I didn't want Bird to end up on another team in the West.

Ah yep, makes sense then

And it helps my chances of being worst team so no complaints here :)

Smart. Pretty sure I had the fall back offer here. Finished 2nd for both Bird and Parish
