Re: Wolves - Hornets deal
I accept. I've run out the AD/Rubio/DeAndre lineup for several years now and it just isn't working.
I tried to package stuff together to upgrade this year's team and couldn't get an impact player.
This way I cut $12M off my cap for next year, get what I think will be a lottery pick this year, a second pick and a backup PG while clearing out the space to see if Green can keep up the pretty impressive numbers he put up with Rubio out.

Lol - I don't think you have to explain why you did it. Although I'd say DeAndre is more of your problem than Rubio was. That guys offense is atrocious.Cellar-door wrote:I accept. I've run out the AD/Rubio/DeAndre lineup for several years now and it just isn't working.

Not a trade I would've made had I been in the Wolves position, but to each his own.
Seems like the Wolves would've been more anxious to get rid of Sessions instead of Jones and that Bulls pick instead of their own.
On a selfish level, at least this takes the Wolves out of being a major player on the FA market next year.

Especially with selling Stoudemire for nothing already this year.UOducksTK1 wrote:Don't really get it for the Wolves.

There's nothing wrong with changing directions 1/2 way through the year. Especially after seeing that with Simmons and MKG he's not going to finish in the bottom 10 no matter how hard he tries. Seems like a buyers market for players though because of that and would've gotten a cheaper deal somehow.pudgejeff wrote:Especially with selling Stoudemire for nothing already this year.UOducksTK1 wrote:Don't really get it for the Wolves.

I agree that its a buyer market and if you are going to make a splash go and get Chris Paul who wont turn it over and it a better player.bellsduck wrote:There's nothing wrong with changing directions 1/2 way through the year. I was meaning with as much as he paid for Rubio, he paid like he was a team on the edge of winning a championship.bellsduck wrote:There's nothing wrong with changing directions 1/2 way through the year. Salaries are off but if you add Rucker they work. However, the Hornets would then have 16 players and they doesnt have any cheap players worthy of cutting(from my end to make it work).
Please rework

Huh. That's weird, the trade checker says that it works when I plug it in.Oregon Ownage wrote:Salaries are off but if you add Rucker they work. However, the Hornets would then have 16 players and they doesnt have any cheap players worthy of cutting(from my end to make it work).

I'll check with Minny and see if he's willing to do it without Gbinjie, since it definitely should work that way (he'd be under the cap still), and then I'd just cut Gbinjie to stay under 16.
