Heat accept. 2021 1st is the Cavs.
Hate to lose Blake and take on Smiths contract but I'm going to bank on that 1st being solid.

I get rid of an old player on a horrible contract in my opinion. I also get a young Blake Griffin to go along with my young core I am assembling. Shumpert is an asset as he is good, young and expiring. Out with the old in with the new. Couldn't pass up this opportunity. My Cavs are like the current Suns now.

I don't like second guessing other people but I guess I'm just confused on what the Cavs are doing. They trade their best asset Gasol for little value and say "let the rebuild begin". Then trade their second best player for Blake, who's younger but arguably not as good as smith or Gasol. Then give up their only first rounder on the horizon during a "rebuild". No disrespect, just my viewpoint. Hopefully they can prove me wrong like the Kings did.

We shouldn't be allowing the Cavs to be trading first that far into the future IMO without becoming a top threat in the East.

Bumping this. Very against new GMs trading future firsts like this.
