Happens sometimes if no one is interested. Increase the tank at the cost of a 34yo that is only of immediate help.

To me, these are the types of deals that should be vetoed. A player that's loads better for one that's significantly worse, and no asset attached at all to make this make sense.

Supply and demand its that simple. Literally half the league is tanking so prices fall for players. More players are available than teams looking to buy.

Plus Pistons have gone the whole season without an offer for him so demand was clearly low

If you put up a block and don't mention a player being available, but you purposely list other players that are available, I think it's reasonable to assume that the player not listed is either not available or going to be very costly.

It's not clear because you know better than I how active GMs have been as it pertains to trade talks, especially when no block is posted, as Phoenix just alluded to.
