Nets - Hornets
Nets send:
Liebman
Under (tradeback)
Gill
Azario
2037 Nets 1st
Hornets send:
Johnson
Schechter
Stojakovic
Nets accept. Not really in need of guard depth, anticipating taking another step forward and not needing our pick next year. Really like Phoenix, could probably use more wing depth so here we go. Good deal cellar.

Need to cut salary short and long term, and a 1st is decent return for Johnson.

Re: Nets - Hornets
I have another pick next year, don't expect to need my own and I fully expect us to be a playoff contender. I like Fagan more than Liebman and Azario as presently constituted, and I wanted a SF who could put in buckets off the bench, potentially start if need be.Craig wrote:Wut
Could have gotten more with this package? Sure. Nobody else came with an offer after I put these dudes OTB though. And I had been in discussions for Johnson since last season.

I mean I like the confidence lol. I just have very different valuations of that pick and of Johnson.

I can understand that. He hasn’t produced much, but he had a very good rookie year so I imagine he’s at least that good still. I’m more valuing his contract than anything else I could acquire at that price tag. Gives me a solid 3 year window imo.Craig wrote:I mean I like the confidence lol. Also, it was either the pick or Kundla, and I don’t see myself getting someone as good as Kundla with that pick if we are as competitive as I’m hoping.

TO carify, it should be a trade back not an option. Uner for Stojakovic and a FA ($2.1M) once the no-trade window ends.Ghost wrote:Nets replace McPherson with Uner

I accept.
