2023 PGs

Post by Oregon Ownage »

Ashton Hagans C- C+ A- B- C B
A steady, cerebral floor general with big time court vision and an uncanny feel for the game. Good handles. He can rock the defense to sleep with the dribble while allowing the play to develop and then pass his teammates open, showing good vision and true floor general skills. Solid developing jump shot. Good potential

Jalen Lecque C B C B C- A
More of a combo guard. Good jumper. He's a good athlete with top level speed and is just as quick with the ball as without. He' not an athletic freak but he's got all the speed needed and has decent strength. May benefit moving to SG as he develops due to turnovers. Great potential

Zaire Wade C+ C+ B- B C- B
He's a fierce competitor with a drive to prove that he's the best in the class. A gamer and a winner who plays with passion and plays the game the right way. Will need time to develop. Zaire has yet to develop into an advanced ball handler, but he has demonstrated to be somewhat resourceful operating in middle high pick-and-roll. Scouts feel he has all the tools to be a scoring threat in this league. Good potential

Tre Mann D+ C+ B A C- C
Mann has appealing lateral quickness to slide multiple times out in space, stay attached all the way and use his length to challenge shots at the rim. Good handles. Known for his motor and intensity on the court, and he takes pride in his defensive abilities. Good at defending the perimeter and stealing the ball. Limited potential

Amari Bailey C C C B- C- A
Young athlete who dominated through his youth. He's very difficult to stop on his moves to the hoop and in the transition game because of a nasty inside out dribble and the way he changes strides and speed. He knows how to slow the pace and play with rhythm, then use the blow by dribble. Turnover prone. Scouts wonder if he should have stayed in school like most prospects have been doing. Amazing raw potential

D.J. Carton C- B- B+ C+ C- B
Solid jumpshot but will need to improve consistency from the three point line. Good enough handles to be counted on and his passing is good. Athletically, he is better than most. Average defender who doesnt gamble going for a turnover. Good potential

Jeremiah Francis C C B+ A- D+ C
Wont be a scorer for you but can control the offense. Very good handles and his eye for a pass is good. Hard nosed defender who plays his position very well and can force turnovers. Average potential but can step in now and play minutes off the bench.

Harlond Beverly B- C B- B C C
Know for attacking the rim off the dribble. Very skilled in that regard. Lacks a true shooting form outside the arc though. Might be better switching him to SG as his handles are very poor. Passing is good.
Can defend the perimeter and wont look overmatched physically with veteran DASL players. Average potential.

Markese Jacobs C B B- B C- B
Very good shooting stroke but needs to be more consistent. Handles are below average but his passing above average. Pesky defender who can guard inside and out. Basketabll IQ is there but might need some time to grow. Good potential.

Jahmius Ramsey C B B- B- D+ B
Similar makeup to Jacobs but will make you pay if you careless on offense with his eye for stealing the ball. Not the most athletic but not horrible. Prefers to play offensively outside the paint. Scared to attack the rim. Above average potential.

Nah'shon Hyland C B- B B C B
Coming from a small school, Hyland has the ability to score at all levels but doesnt excel in one area of it. Rapid player who can get up and go. Handles and passing are above average and need improving on. Good defender but again, needs improving. The foundation is there but he will need time to grow and adapt to the DASL. Very good potential.

Isaiah Pope B B B- C C- B
Another small school player, Pope is a more advanced scorer at levels than most at his position. Needs to improve from the three point line though. Handling is good and his passing is above average. Weak defensively but not horrible. Ok potential.
