2023 SGs

Post by Oregon Ownage »

Scottie Lewis B- B- C B- D+ A
Star potential. He has size, length and instincts that you can't teach and a chance to be special. Great all around scoring abilities. Deadly jumper. Could possibly turn into the best prospect in the class. He has high basketball I.Q. is evident on the defensive end where he plays with great positioning and good fundamentals. Amazing potential

Bryan Antoine C+ C+ C C+ C- A
Antoine is a rangy and athletic combo guard who is a blurr in the open court and who plays with intensity. Has the physical tools to be great. Runs the floor and glides into the air with ease. Super quick in the open court and plays a downhill style. Has okay but not great form on his jumper and it remains to be seen if he can make 3 point shooting a strength of his game. Great potential

Cassius Stanley C A- C- B- C B
A compact and strong wing player who is a lights-out three point shooter and a clutch performer but lacks ideal size and athleticism. A very pesky defender who reads the play well and has active hands. He has enough strength to guard multiple positions and can hold his own against taller players. Good potential

Keion Brooks C B C B C- B
Brooks is an explosive leaper with some space to take flight and can play above the rim as a target for lobs on baseline cuts or filling the lanes in transition but struggles going up strong in traffic. Needs to bulk up in strength. Good potential

Carson McCorkle C B+ C- C+ C- A
Carson puts in work on both ends of the floor and always plays the game hard. He's a focused, team- first player and a winner. Great shooting ability. He gets his shot within the flow of the offense and can also step up and hit the big shots. Will have to be patient. Overall great potential.

De'Vion Harmon B B C B- C- B
Very athletic guard who can attack offensively at all levels but will need improvement behind the three point line. Lacks focus on defense but can get some steals for you. Good potential.

Josh Nickelberry C A- C C+ C B
Great from outside the arc but doesnt attack the rim. Below average defensively but is stronger than most at his position. Good at getting his hands in the way on defense. Good potential.

P.J. Fuller C B+ C B+ D B
Good shooting stroke but consistency is his issue. Very good defender on the perimeter and great at stealing the ball from the opponent. Needs time in the gym and refining his shooting stroke. Good potential.

James Bouknight C B C+ C+ C- B
Great size for the position but doesnt use it effectively. Avoids the lane like the plague on offense. Needs to improve his shot from behind the arc. Below average defensively and not known for his turnover ability. Good potential.

Charles Smith IV C+ B+ C A- C B
Has the ability to jump out of the gym but it doesnt translate on the court. Needs time improving behind the arc but form is there. Very good at defending his position and can also bang downlow. Might need a season getting his feet beneath him at this level. Very good potential.

Jalen Williams B- C+ C B- D A
Can score inside and mid range but his three point shot is lacking. Below average athletically but he can still defend his position quite well. Very good at stealing the ball on defense. Will need gym time adjusting to DASL. Very good potential.
