2023 PFs

Post by Oregon Ownage »

Vernon Carey B C- C- B- B+ A
Carey is built like a bull and is a truly powerful player. He does a good job of gaining position in the lane and is really tough to stop within 5 feet of the basket. Double double machine. Carey is a terrific rebounder on both ends of the floor and knows his role as a rebounder, interior defender and rim protector. He doesn't project as an elite shot blocker but he shows good timing. Plays the game the right way. Knows when to move the ball, when to look to score, and doesn't let his emotions get the best of him. Amazing potential

Matthew Hurt C+ C C B+ B- B
Does a good job of fighting for rebounds and crashing the offensive boards, showing good timing and the ability to play above the rim. Although he has an advanced perimeter game for a big man, he's still refining his ball handling and passing skills. Solid potential

Alonzo Gaffney B- D+ C C C+ A
Very athletic. Smooth in transition. He's a threat on the fast break, thanks to his speed and hustle. Seems to have his head screwed on straight, shows good competitiveness and his a hard worker with a desire to be great. Great potential

Armando Bacot C C D- B B- B
Bacot lives on the low block, where he can score on a variety of back to the basket moves and face up jumpers. He doesn't blow you away with athleticism but he has the size and strength to be a major force in the paint and is a rock solid, fundamentally sound player. Great rim protector. Good shot blocker. Good potential

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl B C D+ B C+ C
Earl has really good size and great length, making him a potential force in the paint on both ends of the floor. His length and jumping ability allow him to play above the rim and dunk with ease. Great post defender. A true post player with a fundamentally sound game, who is a difference maker on both ends of the court. Ok potential

E.J. Liddell C B+ D- C C C
Plays more like a SF as he tends to play outside the paint. Very advanced shooting stroke and a threat from the three point line. Below average defender and rebounder. Run and gun outside offense would be a great landing spot for him. Average potential.

Akok Akok C+ C C B- C+ B
Best name in this class. Has the ability to score inside and out. Average defender in the post but can alter shots with his shot blocking ability. Very good defensive rebounder. Quicker than most at his position. Needs time adapting to DASL. Very good potential.

Nobal Days B C- C B- C+ B
Advanced post moves offensively with an above average shooting stroke from midrange. Average defender but can create turnovers with his hands (stealing and shot blocking). Above average rebounder. Good potential.

Omar Payne C C D C+ C+ A
Advanced shooting stroke for his position. Average offensive post moves. Very good post defender but not known for his shot blocking ability or creating turnovers. Above average rebounder. Needs time to grow. Very good potential.

Calvin Felder C+ B- C+ B- C+ B
Similar offensive skillset to Payne but stronger and quicker. Can defend the post and perimeter with confidence. Very good passer out of the post. Needs improvement defensively grabbing rebounds. Good potential.
