2024 PFs

Post by Oregon Ownage »

Jaemyn Brakefield B- C- C C B- A
Long and athletic post player with a solid all around game. Has really good coordination, quick movements and a nice scoring touch. Has the length to compete in the paint and the speed to get out in transition. Great rebounder. Will need to improve defensively both inside and outside the paint. Scouts feel he has star potential but will need to work hard during the off seasons. Great potential

Xavier Foster B+ C- C B- C+ B
Xavier is an elite level athlete who is long, fast and fluid and can really play above the rim. Has small forward skills with a quick first step and great leaping ability. Excels in transition and changes ends in a flash. Uses his length well on defense and is a really pesky defender and high level shot blocker. Good potential

Isaiah Jackson B- C C B A- D
Amazing rebounder. Does all the dirty work well and doesn't need the ball in his hands to impact the game. Sets screens, rebounds, defends and runs the floor well. Solid post defender who also shows good awareness on help defense. Has the length to protect the rim and alter shots. Below average potential

Jason Harris C C D+ B B B
Harris is a heart and hustle type of player who is also a big time athlete. He brings a ton of passion and energy to the court and he excels at doing the dirty work of rebounding, defending, running the floor and getting after loose balls. He’s not polished but he is a guy you would go to battle for. Solid potential

Brandon Boston C+ C+ D+ C+ C+ B
A high upside prospect who shows flashes but disappears too often. A versatile player who can really defend, run the court and play above the rim. Has glimpses to stardom and still putting it all together but could pay off big in a few years. Good potential

Isaiah Cottrell C C C- A- C+ C
Best post defender at his position on this class. Fundamentally sound player who will stick to his assignment and not over commit. Due to his positioning, he can generate a block or two every now and then. Very good shooting form but dont count on him to be a scorer. Good strength. Average potential.

Noah Collier A- C- C C C C
Accomplished scorer inside the paint with some ability to step outside of it on occasion. Below average defender and rebounder. Perfect for a team running an inside offense who could use something off the bench. Average potential.

Josh Carlton C+ C C C+ C+ B
Very raw player who will need seasoning adjusting to the speed and strength of the DASL. Even then, there are no guarantees he will develop. Very lazy player while in school but when he was motivated, he was very good. Ability is there but will his mentality? Boom or bust player

Kareem Reid A- C C C- C B
Another accomplished scorer inside the paint but a more refined stroke than Collier. Doesnt attack the boards on offensive but is an above average defensive rebounder. Below average defender. Above average growth.
