2026 PGs

Post by Oregon Ownage »

Dior Johnson C C+ B- C+ C- A
Excellent handles. Will need to improve on shooting form. Solid perimeter defender. Might have troubles on the drive due to strength. He is a very good passer and can thread the needle in pick and roll situations or lob it perfectly over defenders in the post. Scouts feel his has the most room to grow as a player. Great potential

Scottie Pippen Jr C A- B- B D+ B
Due to a leg injury, Pippen Jr redshirted for a 5th year and dominated the NCAA. Smooth shooting form. Can knock the ball down from anywhere on the court. He has improved his floater and finishing ability, but still struggles to finish over taller defenders. Solid handles. Good defender. Scouts worry about future knee problems. Overall good potential.

Paul McMillan IV C- A- B A- C- C
Definitely the most ready point guard in the draft. He is a crafty player and does a nice job using his body, hesitation dribbles, and stepbacks to create space. Great outside shooting. Excellent defender. Solid handles. Will need to improve court vision. Limited potential

AJ Casey C- B- C+ B+ D+ B
Great defender both on and off the ball. Good passer. He has good size and strength for the PG position and has the ability to play some SG. Terrible handles. Teams might consider moving him to the wing position. Solid jump shot.

Bryce Griggs C- B C+ C+ C- A
Known to settle for bad shots. Flashy player who likes to get inside opponents head. Solid handles. Needs to improve defensively. Overall, Griggs is a great scorer and plays with a chip on his shoulder, which are two needed traits if a player of his size is to succeed in the pros.

Ashton Malone C B B B- C B
Quick player who settles for mid range jumpers and three pointers. Will not attack the rim. Handles are average and his passing is above average. Can stick to his man defensively but wont light up the stat sheet. Good for a backup role right now and has good potential.

Rahsool Diggins C+ B- B- C+ D+ A
Rapid player who needs work in the gym on his shot from distance. Handles are below average and passing can be improved as well. Can rise and slam home a lob but his finishing leaves alot to be desired. Defensively, he is okay. Will need seasoning but IQ is there. Very good potential.

Ramel Lloyd B- A B- C+ D C
Attacking point guard with tunnel vision on finding open team mates. Can score at all levels efficiently but his handles will cause concern for GM's looking to trust him in crucial minutes. He is what he is a scoring guard and has average potential.

Trejuan Holloman C+ B- B B- D- C
Consistent player across the board and wont blow you away with his athleticism. Three point need needs improving but can be trusted inside the arch. Handles are below average but is very good at finding an open player. Average potetial.

Jalen Hood-Schifino D+ B B- B C- C
Fastest player at the combine and it showed in the open court as he possesses the best handles in the class but the end product left scouts scratching their heads. Passing wasnt crisp and his finishing at the rim was not existent. Very good from the free throw line but thats all. Defensively he is solid due to his pace. Ok potential.

Rashoul Diggins seems like he should have notes already, those ratings would make him a high pick if his notes are good, top 5 type

Ownage usually makes the final tweaks in the file. I finished the notes late Thursday night not seeing the final file.

He is closer to Casey/Briggs and I will look to get some notes done tonight and you will see why.

They are definitely tier 2/3 for PG's
