2035 Cs

C
Bai Li B+ C C B+ A- A
Has been one of the most highly regarded prospects over the past few years. Playing in the CBA since age 14, Li has been able to hold his own. Including two finals appearances and a MVP award at age 17. Fluid athlete. Terrific spot-up shooter, despite his funky mechanics. If his screening improves, he’ll become a pick-and-pop weapon. Great all around defender. Amazing rebounder. Great potential

John McAdoo B- C- D+ C+ B- A
Potentially a highly versatile defender if his body and fundamentals improve drastically; his coaches often trust him to switch screens, and he plays hard, though the results are mixed. Great post scorer. Solid mid range game. Has had troubles with his free throw shooting though. Great potential

Marcus Quigley B D+ C- B- B B
Good rebounder considering his underdeveloped body, though stronger bigs will move him off his spots until he adds muscle. Gets a lot of put backs. Solid mid range shooter. Good potential

Caleb Buckner C C- C- B+ C+ A
Good shot blocker who can alter perimeter jumpers and recover when beaten to swat away shots from behind; he’s an attentive off-ball defender who steps up for weakside blocks, too. Scouts hope he can improve his conditioning. At the combine, coaches weren’t impressed by his out of shape frame. Great potential

Erik Hill C+ C- C B- C+ A
Nice foundation of a two way post player but needs to improve finishing at the rim to be effective. Ok jump shot. Good post defender and plays it safe but not overcommitting for blocks or steals. Very good strength but doesn’t use it effectively. Needs to learn how to throw his size around. Great potential.

Jeffrey McCutchan C D D+ B A+ D
If there is a rebound to be had, McCutchan is going to grab it. Bullies opponents with his world class strength (did we mention he won world juniors lifting competitions?). Defensively he can hold his own and can block a shot or two but his true value is rebounding. Limited potential.

Sebastian Kitna B C+ C B+ B+ D
Ready now prospect. Body seems to have been built in a lab; possesses a thick frame and long arms to go with agility and explosiveness. Soft interior touch and clean shooting form suggest he has a projectable shot to the 3-point line. Average potential

Marco Newman B- C- D+ B+ C+ B
Fine finisher at the rim with a smooth jumper for his size. Defensively he is known for his shot blocking ability and steals. Average post defender. Needs to improve positioning for rebounds. Good potential.

Xavier Ames B D+ D B- B+ C
Can fit into a bench role immediately providing scoring and solid rebounding. Good defender who wont fill up the stat sheet. Can be a rostered player for many seasons. Average potential.

Anthony McIlvaine C+ C+ C C+ B- B
At the combine he was involved in three alterations (two on the court and one after hours) so discipline is a huge issue. Prototypical high school jock with natural abilities who didn’t have to work hard to get where he is at but that changes in the DASL. Amazing athlete and complete player but its anyones guess how he will turn out in 2-3 seasons as one scout said “I wouldn’t be surprised if he was out of the league after 1 season” due to his issues. Huge upside but major downside
