NCAA Outdoor Track Finals

Post by RanDux »

Both men's and women's teams with the largest number of entrees, the men with 23 and the women with 22. Both are in the hunt for the title. The men have a 2 point lead over Florida on the form charts, with only 6 points separating the top 4 teams. Go ducks! Let's go for a sweep!

Definitely looking forward to this. It would be awesome if the Ducks could sweep the thing at home.

Oregon got some big-time performances to absolutely blow the form chart projections away. Let's see if the women can get it done tomorrow.

There wasn't a single event that the Oregon men were entered in that they didn't meet or exceed (in most cases they blew it away) their form chart projected point total. An absolutely amazing performance by the team.

Yep, such a fun meet to be at. Seriously, track and field is such a great spectator sport... especially when you're a Duck fan!

Congrats to both teams in pulling off a very rare sweep of the outdoor titles.

Is it rare? I thought Arkansas did it a bunch of times?

Arkansas has never won a Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship, so they have never swept both despite winning several championships with the men.

Texas A&M pulled off the amazing feat of sweeping both the women's and men's championships three years in a row.
