I couldnt think of one player who would be a slam dunk pick
Of our league? I’m sure the guy with the #1 pick wouldn’t be too sad about the options
Yea, just curious who everyone would pick 1st overall. My greater point is that I dont think there is a player that is leaps and bounds better than anyone else.
I’d say there’s a handful leaps and bounds better than everyone else, but not much separation between the guys in that handful.
Agreed

Shortlist: Marvin Bagley, Wiggins, Ben Simmons, Lamelo Ball, Embiid and Giannis.

I think Wiggins is the best player but is hurt by being expiring. I'd still take him most likely and presume I could re-sign him with a full max offer

I wasn’t here for his whole career, but I think Melo would have to be my choice.
He is retired. We can only take current players
Ah glossed over that part haha. That does make it much harder. Wiggins and Bagley come to mind but they only have 1 year left. I may take Monk locked up for 5 more years coming off 1st team all nba and defense. Also played great in the playoffs this year.

I’d definitely have Monk in the conversation. Ingram is also the man. Russell is great too.

Not so crazy about Bagley.

I'd throw Maker into the mix.

I mean he’s still in my top 10-15. I just like high volume bigs to shoot better and block more shots.

Completely random question, but I seem to be missing it if the option is available.

Is there a way to receive emails whenever I get a private message? To go with all of my other emails from this damn site when it keeps watching random topics I clicked on!

Good question, I don't think so, but I'd have to look into it more.
