Ya, it would have been pretty much awesome if Long had one more year to play with Oregon.

Go for it, with each stupid act it makes me want to follow him less and less.

Here's a good piece of writing by Geoff Schwartz about his dislocated toe

The NFL dropped its previous drug policy in favor of a new one. As a result, Dion's current 4-game suspension was immediately lifted (like with Molly Welker) but he failed a 2nd test so now he does have another 4-game ban which works out to 6 total.

Including this past weekend? So he's missing four more games?

Yea, he's out until the Dolphins 7th game, assuming he doesn't fail another test in that period.

No one has said what drugs he was caught doing. I kinda assumed he was doping cause he was so light for his position I figured he would have to bulk up. Anyone know what it was?

It had to have been performance enhancers and not recreational is my understanding because players like Lane Johnson who got a PED suspension are still sitting out their original 4 games while Wes Welker and his recreational suspension was eligible to play last week. I also believe that you don't get a 4-game suspension for pot until like your 4th positive test under the new rules.

Just another reason that Miami drafting him (out of scheme) was a bad choice on their part. He's not a 43 Will

Josh Huff replaced Jeff Maehl on the active roster today for the Eagles and just made his first NFL catch for 4 yards. Taylor Hart has yet to make the active roster yet but Brandon Bair has been a big surprise as a backup DE and key STer. Casey Matthews has seen a lot of time at ILB since Mychal Kendricks went down with a calf injury, too.
