When does the USA Today Coaches poll come out?

Just curious, I like rankings. Last year's came out on August 2nd, so hopefully sometime this week it gets released?

As college football enters the playoff era, coaches will continue to vote in a weekly poll that now will be known as the Amway Coaches Poll.

The company will partner with USA TODAY Sports Media Group and the American Football Coaches Association to conduct the Coaches Poll and to award the iconic Waterford Crystal football to the national champion.

Still looking for when it starts.........

I thought so to, but so far haven't been able to confirm that. I seem to recall it was going to be week 6 before they release the first official poll.

I know the playoff committee is holding theirs until a few weeks in, I think the rest run as they always have

Sounds close, although I don't believe Ohio State should be ranked ahead of Oregon.

Ohio State needs to improve its lackluster pass defense from a year ago, and the loss of Carlos Hyde and four of the five starting offensive linemen from a year ago is certainly noteworthy.

Replacing the entire offensive line and they are ranked ahead of the Ducks? Ehhhh ok.
