Re: Wyoming @ #2 Oregon
I believe I saw Cameron Hunt playing RT next to Jake Pisarcik at RG yesterday and if we don't have either back for next week, we probably will see Crosby go to LT and Hunt take over at RT. In a very real sense, a lot of the guys that weren't supposed to start until next year are being thrust into service. That's fine, just so long as we get some of these injured players back for October and November.

He's been nicked up at various times in fall camp and game weeks so we don't know if or when he'll play.duckfan96 wrote:What happened to Elijah George? Saw on goducks that he was hurt as well.

Re: Wyoming @ #2 Oregon
Finally watched the game, a few notes:
-Our running game was very average. Take out QB scrambles and Marshall's one 30 yard run, and Oregon ends up with 149 rushing yards on 30 carries (4.9 ypc). I'd expect Oregon to get the running game established against teams like Wyoming, but it was just OK. Perhaps a product of running 3 different RBs? Neither Tyner nor Freeman did anything special.
-Oregon gave up 23 first downs.
-Wyoming's QB had a lot of time to throw, and his WRs were very open sometimes. With Hill out, this is probably the #1 concern for me. We need to step up the QB pressure.
-Lots of WRs involved, fun to see.
-Oregon didn't punt until 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.
-Mariota is a beast.

^ Freeman did have like three decent runs called back cause of penalties, and stepping out once. We also did much better when we blitzed as opposed to dropping back in a zone coverage

We did get a lot of sacks (I think 6?), but there were too many players where their QB could just sit back all day.lukeyrid13 wrote:^ Freeman did have like three decent runs called back cause of penalties, and stepping out once. I'm a fan, I have to complain about something.
