Duck07 is right on. It's a media deal and that's about it is my belief. We need awareness about other disease that are little known. Pink uniforms - gawd no, that would be, be, well not well-received. Ugh.

Ehhh, aside from all the intended color's meaning, or actual lack there of, it's kinda fun. At least from my shallow view point.

Pink is rad, I loved the look with the helmets last year.

If we're going to do pink, then do it right. I didn't like the regular unis with the pink helmets last year. Add pink in as an accent, like an outline on the numbers, fade it on the wings of the helmet (like the yellow for last week's game against Michigan State) or use it as the feathers on the shoulder pads. If we're going to use pink, let's make it look GOOD!

It's a whole lot less about raising awareness as it is making a statement that we are all (most of us) affected by it in some way and then, at least for the Ducks, the helmets were signed and auctioned off for charity $

The last time we wore throwbacks was when we destroyed a high ranked Cal team. I will never understand this fanbase and their fear of cursed uniform combo's. There is hardly enough evidence.
