Yeah, it's hard to imagine not getting at least well up into the 40s this week with a healthy MM. And I'm wondering if the conference DCs are starting to figure out the Cal offense. After averaging in the 50s over their first five games, the last two weeks, both home games, Cal has scored 7 and 34, respectively, and three of their TDs vs. UCLA last week were directly off of turnovers.

I agree, I think we as fans are giving too much credit to cal. This game will be over at the half if our O executes well, which has been the past couple games. I just want to get out of levi stadium injury free.Greenblood wrote:Yeah, it's hard to imagine not getting at least well up into the 40s this week with a healthy MM. FWIW, I notice that the weather forecast for Santa Clara Friday night has changed pretty significantly over the past couple of days, as there is now a decent chance of a little rain.

Are the groundskeepers properly equipped with top of the line pitch forks?

The one place where Cal appears to have an advantage is Special teams.
Now, I do think their offense will give Pellum some fits.
Their pass defense, on the other hand, is statistically non-existent. Look for Frost to try and light 'em up.

Someone said Goff had small hands - I like our chances in the rain.Greenblood wrote:FWIW, I notice that the weather forecast for Santa Clara Friday night has changed pretty significantly over the past couple of days, as there is now a decent chance of a little rain.

Marshall couldn't hold the dang ball either, he was just lucky.....he fumbled what, three times in the first quarter and didn't lose a single one? That was just our day.

Re: #6 Oregon vs California (Levi's Stadium)
Latest weather forecasts, btw, are now backing off of any rain on Friday night for Santa Clara and reverting to the dry forecast of a few days ago (though it is supposed to rain there the next day). With the Ducks being so speed oriented, I pretty much always prefer dry conditions for a Duck game, so I'm glad for this development.

Haha I was just watching TV and that was the first I'd heard it was a FRIDAY game. Geesh, I thought it was Saturday. Glad I saw that commercial!

"Oregon has won five straight against Cal by an average of 30 points"
What a long nightmare we are embroiled in
I like these streaks we are accumulating against Pac-12 opponents. Keep it up!
