A one-off every 5 years or so is ok, but there is something special about Oregon vs MSU at Autzen compared to say at Levi's Stadium.
I would be down with a neutral site game.
'Neutral' meaning in Atlanta though.

I think it would be cool to play them closer to us, in the Rose Bowl.

I know this is a little ridiculous, but instead of a home and home could we play at two different neutral sites in 18/19?
I don't really know the precedents for scheduling, but that would be pretty cool. A game in Dallas and at the Rose Bowl.

Oregon already has Ohio State scheduled for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. There just aren't many big-time programs with open slates in 2018 and 2019 since like Oregon, they had scheduled well in advance.

Some interesting options, based on what is already on the schedule:

Texas Tech
2018
09/15 - Houston
2019
TBA

Baylor (this is ridiculously weak…adding Oregon here would help them greatly)
2018
09/08 - at UTSA
09/15 - Duke
2019
08/31 - Incarnate Word
09/07 - UTSA
09/14 - at Rice

Oklahoma State
2018
09/08 - South Alabama
09/15 - Boise State
2019
TBA - Central Michigan
09/14 - at Tulsa

Penn State
2018
09/08 - at Pittsburgh
09/15 - Kent State
2019
09/14 - Pittsburgh

Pretty much ALL of the SEC teams are open in this timeframe, as many of their schedules have not been built this far out.

Maybe Georgia will re-reconsider?

Bama's idea of a neutral site would probably be somewhere in Georgia or Florida... just like LSU saying Texas was a neutral site when they played us.
