Begging my wife as we speak. I went to the Civil War and Pac12 title game so am not currently winning the argument. Debating the old adage "it is better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission" and just buying the flight.

Five years ago , against Ohio st, I waited until kick off and paid $140 outside. This year with FSU it is hard to say. They were here last year and may assume they are going to win and go to Texas and wait for that game. So there may be extra seats. I think you will likely have no problem buying a ticket at game time. How much they drop of course will be a factor of how many tickets they are sitting on. 2012 I had donor seats as I do this year. So I can't help with more recent info. Also Stub Hub and craigslist are more widely known now, so those are worth watching as is the ticket marketplace at GoDucks, but that is now integrated with Stub hub so I don't know if that is better or worse for getting better prices now.

Salut and welcome. I've been working all year to convince my pops to fund and come down as well and, while that NCG would take a little convincing, he was all over the Rose Bowl. The only other time we went down was the Ohio St Game.

Getting out to the ros bowl itself is a pain in the ass. Find a schuttle and expect over two hours after the game just to get from the stadium to your car. Logistics around the rose Bowl sucks.

I will be flying in from Nashville, arriving on the 31st and leaving the 3rd. I'm looking forward to the game, and hanging out with other fans at the Ducks tailgate. I'm close enough to drive to Dallas for the national championship should everything work out.
