It wouldn't surprise me. The kid obviously hates school and loves football. Personally, as good as Miller and J.T. Barrett are, I think Jones may have been the best of the three.

It wouldn't surprise me. The kid obviously hates school and loves football. Personally, as good as Miller and J.T. Barrett are, I think Jones may have been the best of the three.

I think that they're all great athletes but Cardale's size sets him apart. He literally moved the LOS on several occasions. Barrett is by far the best overall QB though. Cardale had a very basic playbook and has not shown he can go through progressions at all. In college you can get away with it. Cam Newton couldn't even tell Gruden a single play that they ran at Auburn and Akili Smith, Jamarcus Russell, Michael Vick also had limited playbooks but excelled. In the NFL though he would get eaten alive if he only went through his first two progressions and was never asked to run an out route or a check down to his TE.

Honestly, I'm not certain I want him here anymore either. We need to get our younger guys going and this would hold them back another year.

Another thing, his team just beat us for the championship and he's going to have that ring no matter where he goes. If I were a player I'm not sure how I'd react to that. It could be extremely motivating or it could rub salt in the wound.

Most of their fans have been respectful, at least from what I've seen, but Joey Bosa's tweet almost makes me want to declare war on them.

I'm just starting to feel like we've got "men of Oregon" on our roster right now. Him coming to Eugene would almost feel like we're consorting with the enemy.

I'm just going to take the stance of whatever happens, happens.

Jones was always in the picture, it just wasn't known outside of Ohio.

Wouldn't be surprised to see 2 out of the 3 transfer after the Spring. Would simply be a waste of a year/damage their stocks tremendously for 2 of those 3 players not to see the field next year
