Best hits all time

Post by GoDuckYourself »

Discussion with some buddies, what are the best hits you can remember? Gotta be some good TJ Ward and Kiko in the mix.

This was the one I was going to post. After Robinson gets back to the huddle you see him bending over and wincing in pain. I'm surprised he even got up.

^ Too bad we had a phantom holding call on the next play which was a Dixon TD. Would have put us up like 20-3 in the 3rd.

You don't remember that game very well do you?
Clemens was the starter, Oregon got up 10-0 in the second quarter then USC went on a 45-3 Scoring burst
Dixion was just playing in garbage time.

We got up 13-0 and then they scored 45 straight. We had a QB run, thought it was Dixon, come back on a hold. It was on I believe Terrell Jackson or Cam Colvin, but the QB was already 6 yards deep in the end zone. We would have been up 20-3 then but instead the holding pushed us back and we didn't score that drive and USC went on a tear the rest of the way.

Don't remember the name of the player, but it was in the bowl game against Colorado when we should have played for the championship against Miami, I think in 2001. Our defense was just fired up that game. I remember one of our LBs coming through the middle untouched and just flattening their QB. I can still see the hit in my mind like it happened yesterday.

I can't find the best hit of JD Nelson anywhere. It was against Fresno, and he hits the WR right in the chin, the kid just collapsed like a sack of potatoes. In fact, we had 4-5 really big hits in that game, as did they.
