Re: Oregon Ducks Spring Game (May 2nd 11am Pac-12 Net)
Having never attending a spring game before, I have a few questions.
is it open access or ticketed/fee event?
How long do they play, full/half game scrimmage?
Concessions?
I'll be in town with my daughter and we both are excited in attending

The game is free with the donation of three cans of food for the food bank. Depending on the health of the team they play a complete first half, and running time in the second. A couple times they ran a scrimmage first team offense against second team D because there wasn't enough bodies at certain positions to create two full teams.
Yes to concessions.
The best part is you can buy tix for Ducks baseball and make a day of it. They have some great BBQ inside the park.

Just about 2 weeks!
What are you guys most interested to see during the game? For me, seeing how the QBs play will be interesting. I'm also excited to see Tony James. DB group will also be fun. Who plays alongside Seisay? How will Nelson look?

I want to see some of the young guys, especially the early enrollees.

I am bringing my whole family as well. Probably watch the first half, say hi to my friends in the Kenny Wheaton tailgating van and run over to watch the Baseball game against Furd. Should be a great day!

It just occurred to me that the Spring Game is at the same time as the Kentucky Derby. No mint juleps for me.

I mentioned my buddies Tailgate van. If you have seen it it's fully wrapped in Duck graphics, BBQ on the back and tap on the side. They are going to be having a Kentucky Derby themed tailgate party. Not only will they be dressings up in derby gear there will be Kentucky Burbon and Mint Juleps. You could likely crash and scrounge a drink or two but you didn't hear it from meDAT#6 wrote:It just occurred to me that the Spring Game is at the same time as the Kentucky Derby.
