Oregon schedules series with Hawaii
Oregon has announced they intend to play a 3-game series with Hawaii. It'll feature 2 games at Autzen in 2020 and 2023 and a game in Hawaii in 2024. It's a long ways off so it could always be changed.

Not sure these games will ever be played. Hawaii AD ran a $3.5 million deficit last year and has discussed dropping football.

That's what I meant by something could change. They're still scheduling for the future but could easily drop the sport in the next few years and the series is thus canceled.maxduck wrote:Not sure these games will ever be played. It's hard to get excited about any future scheduling when over half of them end up getting cancelled.

Wellllll it is not Georgia or Texas A&M so do not see them dropping us unless they drop football.

Plus it's a west coast trip for them, about the cheapest travel they do. It's a win/win if it works out, all those poly boys get to see their beloved Ducks up close and personal.GoDucksIn09 wrote:Wellllll it is not Georgia or Texas A&M so do not see them dropping us unless they drop football.

The rule that teams who play @Hawaii get to schedule a 13th regular season season game is still current, right?
Theoretically a good team could attain the most wins in program history before even getting placed in a bowl game if that's still the case... that is of course, if another team doesn't get to 14 wins before 2023.
