I agree that the coaches wanted someone better than Lockie when they signed Adams. I also think it's at least possible that Lockie has taken a jump in effectiveness, as evidenced by his performance in the spring game, and that it won't be a slam dunk that Adams gets the starting gig. What I really hope is that Adams doesn't get the job just out of obligation because he transferred. I hope the best QB wins.

Somehow. I just don't see Helf as that kind of coach... I think Adams will have to show a clear advantage for the staff to make that decision.
