Been thinking about JB lately so the article is timely for me. He was (is) a ferocious player. I wonder how he would be as a coach? I really hope he gets another chance and that the changes he has made are real and true.

Not a big fan of the veiled shots at the Oregon coaching staff regarding his knee issues. At least that is how I'm reading them but I could be completely off. I was also never a big fan of Boyett off the field in general so that is probably swaying my opinion on the article so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Hopefully he is serious about his recovery and this isn't just a fluff piece organized by his agent or someone else vested in his success (see Lyerla, Colt).

D24- I have to agree with you about the veiled shots at the coaching staff. He could have left that out very easily. I also heard some things about him off the field that were less than flattering.

I do hope he is successful and continues his sobriety. I have to be honest and say he was never a favorite of mine but wish him the best.

The dude was a dickhead off the field. I had many run ins with him and not a single one was positive.

Consistent with what I heard. Also heard teammates didn't exactly love him.
