Marcus after his first Titan's practice

Post by Alan »

A couple of videos, first is Marcus press conference after his first day at rookie camp. Next is Titans coach Whisenhunt talking to the press mostly answering questions about Marcus.

Marcus looks really comfortable out there. Seems to handle the press better and better every day. Good for him.

And remember 96 all he had to do was get the ball in the hands of the playmakers. He did not have to do anything else like change up line calls or adjust plays at the line. ;)

Mariota reminds me a lot of Kevin Durant. Back in that draft, Oden was viewed as the "sure thing" pick that would anchor a championship team... but Durant was just lighting it up in workouts like this basketball ninja assassin. He was definitely the sexy pick... but when it came time to choose, most people (myself included) preferred picking Oden.

Winston is viewed as the more NFL-ready QB, and his place as the top pick never seemed to really be in question (although, just like the Oden/Durant draft, there were those who said Portland should have picked Durant).

I totally won't be shocked though if Winston is a bust and Mariota becomes a star.
Willie Taggart is a dick.
