Yes! This has probably been the fastest offseason so far for me. Probably because I'm busier and older than ever before. I'm sure velocity will only increase as I continue to age...

Anyway, can't wait for some football.

I think the success of our other programs, like Men's Basketball, Track, and Softball have helped as well.

Same for me as well. Yes I'm busier, but I'm also actively trying to avoid Duck football cause I'm still sore about the Ohio St game. It has made the offseason fly by.

I think another factor is that I don't get caught up in recruiting nearly as much as I used to. 5 star guys bust and 2 star guys flourish and either way you're not likely to see them until they're 20 years old and they're still only 16 when we first hear about that. Far too long of a time to wait on a player.

I think that's helped me out a lot as there's been a host of other distractions/interests to pass the time in the off-season.

What helps me is i have a full time job and businees on the side and
a wife with a large honey do list. So i have no time to sit around and
wait for the season to start. However once the season is here i slow down.
Gotta watch college football ya know.

for me, the long dark period of no Duck"s football (after the spring game) is sailing season. I sailed in the first race of the season Memorial weekend and my last race is labor day weekend.

This off season has gone faster than the last for me, maybe because Helf is recruiting more aggressively then Chip, or seems to be. Or the Media has a "little" more access, or I joined this forum and I get more Duck football news. Bottom line I'm happy because the desert is not so dry this off season........ Can I mark off day 99 and go to day 98, or should I wait until tomorrow?

I'll wait I guess,

Crootin', and getting ready to watch the development of Vernon Adams vs. the rest of the QBs helps.

This has been the most interesting recruiting season in a while.

Heck, we could probably make it around the world in a balloon, in 80 days.
