The case can be made for 12-0 or 11-1. Ducks win Pac 12, go to the Natty and play OSU again. This time emerge victorious.
- All of the pieces are there. If we had Mariota this year we would have been ranked #2. We were a train wreck all season last year. We've never been this loaded on offense, the OL will be better than last year. We will be much more solid defensively, and have the potential to be a dominant defense. We are seriously being overlooked at this point and they don't seem to understand we now have experienced solid depth and starts beyond just IFO on the defense waiting to emerge.

If VA comes to play this may play out like the Vols post Peyton Manning. Let the fun begin.

Offense, defense, and special teams (excluding extra points) all score.

Adams throws 6 picks and we lose the game. We later find out that EWU paid him handsomely to lose the game, so that EWU would be able to knock off a national power and put them on the map, making them the new App State.

VA puts up Heisman worthy stats, but the pundits say it is because of the system, so he loses out even though he had the numbers.

By the 3rd quarter...Allie and Mahalek will have been behind center, the the Duck RB's will have combined for over 200 yards in rushing and the 2nd string D will be on the field.

All of the CFB 'experts' (even Coach Bellotti) will have eaten their words when our beloved Green Machine make the CFB playoffs again this year.

We defeat TCU for the national title proving VA should have won the Heisman instead of their QB (what's his name? Boy...?

Yes!

Seriously, I have a really, really good feeling about this year. We have a ton of returning players who are going to be hungry to get back to the natty, and we have a slew of new players who should help us out immediately.

And our new QB shouldn't be too shabby, either.

I feel like our passing game will be nearly as good as it was last season, but that the real improvement will be in our run game, thanks to a hopefully healthy O-line and the return of "lightning" athletes like Griffin and Brooks-James... and more touches for Nelson.

Defense is still a question mark, but I feel like our LBs will be better, and I don't think we'll see much dropoff from our CBs. Our D-line should be amazing.

I think opponents are just going to be blown away by the sum of this team's parts. We'll know more tomorrow, but I don't think this team will have any weaknesses like last year's team did at linebacker.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

It was just the first game, but TCU didn't look too impressive last night.

No, they really didn't. They made a few mistakes, and their offense sputtered at times.
