That stat was slightly misleading. Several teams have been better than 8-5. Alabama & OU are 2 that come to mind.woundedknees wrote:Fail stat everyone was quoting a couple weeks ago?

Though there is still a chance that the Ducks may end up 8-5, be it unlikely, I have to say the turn around this season is a true mark of a quality program.

It's true. A very valiant turn around. It all started with that ASU game, and our miraculous finish to head into OT. And then two strong wins over Stanford/USC. Definitely agree with you.Bud Lee wrote:Though there is still a chance that the Ducks may end up 8-5, be it unlikely, I have to say the turn around this season is a true mark of a quality program.

X3 on the quality program! Should be the Ducks 8th straight 10 win season.Bud Lee wrote:Though there is still a chance that the Ducks may end up 8-5, be it unlikely, I have to say the turn around this season is a true mark of a quality program.

FSU lost their Heisman QB and they already have 9 wins.
Oregon is most likely going to reach 9 wins on Friday.
Analysts and their silly selective stats.

Though it doesn't matter at this point but I doubt FSU would have 9 wins if they were in any of the other Power 5 conferences, yes Clemson is the #1 team but the ACC is pretty weak, but yes it is a pretty misleading and meaningless stat none the less.
