"Are you kidding me? ... Are you kidding me? That's old fashioned football!"
That was a very entertaining game too. JJ's stiff arms were always a fun time.

Re: When I think of Oregon running backs's historically,
On a tangent, back in 2001, I attended the Oregon game at Arizona.
Watching warm-ups from the corner of the end zone above the entrance to the visiting locker rooms, Several guys walked onto the field, sans pads. They honestly looked like they didn't need 'em. Igor Olshansky, George Wrightster, and Onterrio Smith... IIRC, there was a ginger with a similar build right there with them, but his name escapess me (Justin Peele, maybe?) What a group of monsters!
Funny, but the running play that sticks in my mind was Joey taking it in for a TD.
It was only a 2 yarder, but as he turned and headed back to the team, an Arizona defender (I don't remember who) clotheslined Joey, knocking him flat on his back... Joey popped back up with a big grin on his face and appeared to congratulate the dude, then went right over to the team.
Maybe being well on the way to a 63-28 victory made it easier.
That was during the period when Belloti was stuck on rotating QBs, and he bounced back and forth between Harrington and Jason Fife all day.

From the recent past-
LaMichael at Tennessee:
DAT in the Rose Bowl:
Kenjon's performance at USC (5 TDs) was spectacular.

The rarest thing about that Herman Ho-Ching run is that he didn't fumble. Funny that they were talking about him just having fumbled in that clip. That is all I will ever remember about that guy.

Same, I was assuming the video was gonna be a troll video of his game losing fumble against Michigan State.gogreen55 wrote:The rarest thing about that Herman Ho-Ching run is that he didn't fumble. Funny I've gotten a chance over the years to meet some guys from that team, and a lot of them believe Ho-Ching was paid to fumble. the guy was all kids of awesome in practice.gogreen55 wrote:The rarest thing about that Herman Ho-Ching run is that he didn't fumble.
