Fishduck's all time Ducks top 10.... Do you agree?
I think he came up with a good list and I agree with 1 through 8, except I would flip Musgrave and Ngata. 9 and 10 could be exchanged by more than a few players..... Fouts or Chris Miller for example. Any thoughts?

I appreciate Musgrave's contributions, but he doesn't belong in a top 10 list. Top 25, sure.

LMJ should be higher IMO. His years here were the years that took our program to the next level and gave us our identity as a fast paced spread team. Had he stayed another year, he would be in conversations about best college RB ever.

First team All American (both football and baseball) George Shaw, the #1 pick in the 1955 NFL draft, is not on the list?

Neither Dixon or Musgrave deserve to be on the list. DD had 10 good games, and a bunch of mediocre ones. Adams might as well be on the list if that's all you have to do to be top 10.
I'd put LMJ up in the top 4, and reserve a spot very soon for Freeman. I'd also put DeFo on the list. It can be argued he had a better career at UO than even Ngata had.

Not even going to try to discuss this with someone who would eliminate a NFL hall of fame player for a great Duck running back (LMJ), LMJ isn't going to make many waves in the NFL. He did great things for the ducks but will and did not put the Ducks on the map like a Fouts or Moore. Defo does not belong there either until he proves himself. After further thought I do agree with you about Dixon and Musgrave. There are other players with a better impact for the Ducks than those two standouts.buckmarkduck wrote:The guy who threw more int at UO than TD?Alan wrote:NFL hall of fame, yes FoutsUofDuck wrote:Fouts?

So the list isn't top 10 ducks? It's top 10 NFL ducks? You can drop 7 of those guys of fishs list right now if that's what you think. But since it's top 10 ducks, as in UO careers, fouts did very little at UO to put UO on the map. Unless you think Big Ben has put Miami of Ohio on the map.

Go ahead and change my words to make any statement you want, LMJ was a great back that helped the Ducks greatly, but he's not a Dan Fouts. Fouts has Done more off the field to help the Ducks, post NFL, than LMJ ever will.... Unless he changes his ways....same with Blount.

I never said he sucked, just that he's not a top 10 guy at UO. I'd bet he would say the same thing.
