I don't think guys realize that unless you're a QB, NFL teams aren't going to wait for you to develop. It isn't the NBA. You have to be ready to roll as soon as you get there.

Lewis and Springs are totally diffrent IMO. Lewis wasn't even a real starter, while springs would be a two year starter. I've always felt there had to be some other reason for Lewis to leave early.lmduck wrote:Agreed Stevens re Springs. He needs a really big year before he makes that move. Someone should tell him the story of Javes Lewis.

Re: Chris Seisay leaves program
I thought Seisay looked really good as a FR during our 2014 run, so this is a bit of a bummer. Is he leaving specifically based upon the fact that he won't be starting? If so, that seems pretty short-sighted, especially considering he's already used up his RS year and will only have 1 more season of FBS eligibility. Either way, I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes.

Yeah Javes Lewis was probably the weirdest early entry I've ever seen at Oregon.buckmarkduck wrote:Lewis and Springs are totally diffrent IMO. And when I actually saw Neal's interview (at the bottom of yesterday's Moseley practice report), it was a lot clearer to me than in simply reading excerpts from that interview that Neal feels good about his DB depth as it stands without Seisay -- seemingly to the point that it isn't even a big deal that Seisay left -- and that Neal ain't too happy about Seisay leaving without saying anything (at least to Neal).

If the rumors about him being lazy and having a little attitude is true, then I could see how that could be unhealthy for the rest of the group. So perhaps him leaving is a relief for Neal. Less distractions.Greenblood wrote:And when I actually saw Neal's interview (at the bottom of yesterday's Moseley practice report), it was a lot clearer to me than in simply reading excerpts from that interview that Neal feels good about his DB depth as it stands without Seisay -- seemingly to the point that it isn't even a big deal that Seisay left -- and that Neal ain't too happy about Seisay leaving without saying anything (at least to Neal).

My source tells me this was Knott an easy decision. Apparently he kept Seisaying back and forth.

Anyone know what schools are in the Hunt? He may have hit a Wallace with such a sudden decision.

Bummer that he left, but on the bright side, there are some Lenoir and hungrier Niu guys coming in to take his place. The program won't Dye on the vine without him.
