Week 1 Depth Chart released
Oregon has finally posted the depth chart for the UC-Davis game and there are a couple notable listings. First up, Herbert is the #2 QB, not Jonsen. Next, the starting OL is Crosby, Lemieux, Hanson, Hunt, and Throckmorton. The starting LBs are Ragin, Hotchkins, and Troy Dye. Starting DBs are Springs and Amadi at CB with Robinson and Williams at S. The surprising backup at one CB spot is Brenden Schooler, the late addition to the 2016 recruiting class.

will be interesting to see if they play Herbert and how Jonsen takes not being the backup or starter.
And whats happened with Kamatule ? Came in with fan fair and then dissappered.

Surprised that Hollins beat out Jelks. I wonder if Jelks comes in on 3rd and passing.

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart released
Biggest surprise is Rush end:
-Sr. Torrodney Prevot nowhere to be found. Justin Hollins wins the starting spot.
Other minor surprises:
-None of the freshman WR crack the 2 deep, after the hype and Spring game(probably because Mitchell is hurt), but still.
-Troy Dye winning a LBer spot as a true freshman. First guy to do that since Michael Clay(and he wasn't a starter until like week 3-4.
-Brenden Schooler, a very late recruiting class addition, wins a spot on the 2 deep at CB.
Biggest disappointments have to be: Canton Kaumatule(former 5* recruit, can't crack the 2 deep), Travis Jonsen(some thought he may be the starting QB)

The way the ducks play and as young as they are, its only a chart..A lot of these guys will play..
Good to have some depth. wonder if Wallace and Mitchell will play or redshirt ? Sounds like they
had a great camp but they are so deep...

Torrodney Prevot is not listed in the 2 deep. Neither are Dillon Mitchell or Tristen Wallace; walk on Casey Eugenio is listed as Charles Nelson's backup.

To me it indicates they are RS Wallace. Mitchell is going to play, but I think he's still hurt.

Re: Week 1 Depth Chart released
I think this will not be the final list because of some key omissions that are likely due to injury, notably Baylis, Pisarcik, Okun, Mitchell, and Wallace. Canton Kaumatule is a bit of head-scratcher as we don't know if it's an injury issue again or if he's just not grasping the new defense yet. Have a feeling that those could be similar issues for both Prevot and Swain.

It's a fluid situation. I don't see Mitchell or Wallace RS.

Poor Travis, all the effort and off season work.

Very surprising, though I will say, if Helf plays Herbert over Jonsen in garbage time I'd be upset.

Prepare to be upset. I'd bet he plays next week for most of or all the 4th qrt.
