Yeah, Helf is way more strict on this type of stuff than Chipper was. He has very little tolerance for kids who won't make grades or get into trouble.

I think this is a good and a bad thing. Good for the program in a lot of ways, but sometimes you can get a lot out of kids that are troubled growing up in more ways than one.

I'm pretty sure Chip would suspend a kid for allegedly hitting a girl multiple times.

I'm torn on the decision to suspend him, granted I don't know all the fact of the case. Something about suspending a guy based merely off of accusations bothers me but at the same time, I like the no tolerance approach. I worry that, if the accusation is proven false, he will have been suspended for nothing. Basically, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

From all accounts Prevot has had problems in the past. I'm not sure what he did to provoke Tui, but apparently after the spring game two years ago Tui knocked out Prevot front teeth. And it sounds like he deserved it.

Who is Tui? What are the past issues with Prevot? You make a lot of inferences and accusations but provide very little context. Not trying to call you out but your comment that Prevot has had issues in the past is a pretty serious one.

I like the way Helf operates, and I'm sure his reasoning for suspended Prevot is justified.
