Huge, huge game, the first conference game of the season for each team. Ducks may just have to grind out a win.

Absolute must win for Helfrich if he wants to keep his job. Definitely want to see more discipline out of the defense. As long as Helfrich can keep it simple on offense Oregon should be able to plow the Buffs into submission

these next two games that we should win going away are gonna tell us what kind of season we're in for, there's no doubt about that

Don't underestimate Colorado. Easily the most improved team in the conference.

Hate these types of games. Oregon doesn't blow em out people bitch, if it's a blow out they bitch, if there's penalties we hear(numerous times) helfrich isn't a elite coach. That being said hoping Oregon gets a big lead so Herbert can get some snaps.

I think they said on the ticker that he is questionable... which probably means he plays and just not saying.

Colorado was ABSOLUTELY in position to beat Michigan on the road until Sefo Liufau went down. Prior to him leaving the game, they were up 28-24 in the 3Q. After he went down, the backup led zero scoring drives on 6 possessions. Basically was a Vernon Adams vs. TCU situation of just night and day on offense. I fully expect the QB to get a cortisone shot and play in this one, as he even tried to come back against Michigan.

The Michigan game showed you can put some points up on them. Hopefully Oregon comes in with a good gameplan, ready to play at mach speed.

Boy you better not expect a blowout. We could very well lose this game.

Colorado's QB said he is going to give it a shot. They blew out their first two opponents and were beating the #4 team in the country in their house before the injury. I'm worried.

That's true, STU. But it's never stopped me before  .

But I'll just be happy with a win, however it happens. Unlike the past five or so years when we've played Buff teams that have been no better than average and often well below average, I consider this to be a good Colorado team and a win vs. them will be a good win. All I want at the end of Sept. 24 is for the Ducks to be 1-0 in the conference.

I think Oregon rallies, a circle the wagons type game. I am predicting a 21 point win. :)
