Oregon Ducks fan Safe Zone
This is a thread to talk about and raise awareness to the plight of the Oregon Ducks fans. Do not bring your hate into this sacred space!

Woo, I like this. I can say I am happy for this to be my last time having to watch a game from Minneapolis as I move back to Eugene next week! Losses like this are rough to take and go through with no one around that cares.

All things considered, I'm doing fine. While not completely happy with the way things are going, I understand that the program is in a transition period that is really going to decide the fate of the coaching staff. Right now, those within the program need to decide if they've had enough of thinking they could coast on the past success rather than working and playing hard and smart.

Thanks for the thread, for me it's easy to understand.
1. It's a young team
2. We have new coaches, new DC, New OC and New QB coach
3. We have a completely revamped defense
4. All that matters now is Washington St., it's done move on.

Real Oregon fans aren't panicking right now because real Oregon fans are already dead on the inside.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Only thing I might add is you gotta give Colorado credit as well; they played a hell of a game.Alan wrote:Thanks for the thread, for me it's easy to understand.

People are acting like this is the same Colorado team that Oregon used to run roughshod over. They've really improved the past few seasons and hiring McIntyre is now looking like a great move by them.Cedar Tree wrote:Couldn't have said it better myself. I agree, they are not the old Colorado team, they played Michigan tough, good win by the and a great game by their freshman QB.greenyellow wrote:People are acting like this is the same Colorado team that Oregon used to run roughshod over. Next year will be better. They'll have a year to get used to the new defensive scheme, they'll have a QB that has been in the system longer than a few months, and the coordinators will have a year of growing pains to learn from. While it's hard to lose to Colorado and see a potentially 5 loss team, it happens to everyone at some point in time. Hell, teams like LSU that were predicted to win the SEC by some may very well lose that many. It's a weird year in college football.

It's crazy to think now that a down year for Oregon is now 8-5 though if they do indeed end up losing 5 games.droop10 wrote:Next year will be better.
