This game scares me because of the Bear Raid offense.

We weren't able to stop similar offenses with Colorado and Washington State.

Going to take a real miracle for the defense to find a way to slow down Webb and the Cal offense.

Probably a game where any hope of winning will require outscoring Cal in a shootout.

Will we have any of our injured players back? That could be the biggest difference.

Cal QB Davis Webb was injured in the loss to OSU and is listed as questionable in my fantasy league, for what it's worth.

I hate 7:30 games. Hopefully the bye week help us get a win here. Not very confident about it though.

Hope springs eternal. Get well Mr. Webb.

Anyone know anything about Cal's backup QB?

Unless he's paraplegic, we're probably in just as much trouble.

Oregon's D isn't going to stop Cal, they haven't stopped anyone all season and get worse each week so they will give up 50+ points. Oregon's offense with Herbert hopefully will be able to keep up as Cal's D is no Washington D but to be honest I really do not think the Ducks win another game all season, including against the Beavs unfortunately. As for Cal's backup QB, remember what Colorado's back up QB did at Autzen in his first start against the Duck D? I think even Jeff Lockie would have the game of his life against the Ducks D.

You can point out injuries to an extent, but the real problem is a locker room who has no upperclassmen leadership. And internal fighting along with laziness.

After the UC Davis game I was telling all my friends who were concerned about the team that we would likely see huge improvements each weak as the team felled and younger guys gained more experience. Well, I was wrong. This team seems to get worse each week. Part of that may be how our schedule worked, we played a better opponent each each, so maybe we'll see a good competitive game against a pretty average Cal team. Not holding out much hope tho.

They pass the ball with ease and skill. They cannot stop the run. We pass the ball well and cannot stop the run. I don't see us beating any team with our dear Ducks sinking like an anchor in water, but maybe a couple players will step up. Coach needs to change his attitude and get the players inspired. I don't think he knows how. Go Ducks. Outscore those Bears.

I will be there and I can't say that I'm super pumped to go ... this season can't end soon enough. But, I'm ready to be proven wrong, let's pick up a much-needed win Ducks!

Cal will be pissed after the OSU loss and smelling blood after watching film of Oregon's defense. Besides, just like others, Cal is ready for some satisfying revenge on Oregon, don't expect anything less than their best. Hoping Herbert brings some energy and spark and the team uses that to beat Cal, but with Helf as the coach, I do not see it. On the other hand, if Mullens fired Helf after Washington like he should've then I think Oregon would have a better chance, but as long as Helf is coaching this team, I'm not sure Oregon will win another game this season.
