Well it's unfortunate that it didn't work out, but hard to feel to bad for a guy that will be getting millions of dollars still. He will be just fine!

If the Ducks aren't ready to pony up MAJOR dollars then this is the dumbest decision ever. We ARE Oregon, we got this good though building over decades - not by being a naturally easy place to win. Some people need to sober up to that.

After we find a coach can Mullens resign ? No one deserves what he's done to Mark. Yeah it wasn't working out but the wait and then making him go recruit .

I think that's the one thing you can get everyone to agree on. Mullens did a terrible job here. Really s*** the bed on this one

From reading around, it seems the loudest, panicky voices got heard over the rational, calmer ones. People are going to need to realize that any new staff likely won't have an immediate turnaround and should have their expectations somewhat lowered. Anyone expecting immediate results is a moron.

Message to Mullens: you dumb ass, you signed Helf to a extension that gave him 11.6 mil, you left all to dangle in the wind, we lost our top recruit, no word on a new coach...... right this ship and name the replacement in the next day or two then go away and tell the PK's to get a AD in place that can not cause a ship wreck.

There's a very good chance none of this was ever up to Mullins in the first place. He very well may have just been waiting on the decision.

I love how people can say that they should be fine b/c of money. Laughable

Very true. Fans may never know the reality. Could be the PK's left Mullens' d*ck in the wind.
