Good read, if depressing. Reinforces that Helf had to go. He lost control; the program lost its edge.

Yup, that about sums up what we all saw.

Disturbing the lack of attention to detail for a guy so detail oriented.

Interesting that Greatwood went to Taylor's after the Utah win and sent all the players home. Probably helped lead to Taggart's rumored Taylor's ban.

Thanks for the link, a very good read and probably the first and only inside look at Helf's realm. Greatwood appeared to ready to kick some players azz back in line, too bad Helf didn't see what needed to be done. I hope Willie requires every person associated with the football team to read the highlights of this report.

Thanks for the link.

Helfrich and the rest of the staff relied on the players to self-motivate.

IMO, Helfrich had no idea what a Head Coach does.

Had to be written and is all of what we discussed here over the last couple years. There were signs early on, even against FSU and Ohio State. MH did not know what he was doing as head coach. I hope WT kicks ass, does whatever is needed to restore this team. No more damned train wrecks. If we lose a game it is because the other team had their mojo on and not because of all the crap listed in the article. Good-bye to entitled players whomever they are.

Makes me wonder how some of the returning seniors, such as Freeman and Nelson, are going to come into camp and summer workouts like. They need to be leaders.

Ouch. There were always signs of this but a lot of us chose to ignore them when were winning.

that explains a few things just didnt realize the depth it went. Thats completly on Helfrich
but his hole staff has a role also. The players arent completly blameless either.
More i read this stuff the more i like what im hearing from Willie.

Brutal. Can't help but feel bad for Helf; he's a sharp dude and tremendous game planner but never should have been a head coach.

Wow... imagine if Mullens decided to give Helfrich another year... Could have sent the program back another 5 years.

Cutting corners in the weight room. Haha, bet they don’t do that this year. :D

Can't say I'm surprised by anything in this article. With the stuff that was leaking out slowly from week-to-week, this is just confirmation.
