He has throat cancer and is expected to continue coaching per Feldman. Hoping for the best.

Including statement from KSU.

"He will remain our head coach during this treatment period, and we look forward to seeing him on the field this spring and in pursuit of career win No. 203 on Sept. 2."

That's good to hear, coach Snyder is and has been a class act, best of luck to him in his battle and future coaching career.

So I've looked around, and the only one saying Snyder is stepping down, is duck territory lol. Not saying it can't happen, but no Kansas St connected people are saying it.

That said, if it's up to coach Snyder, and I'd bet he has a big say in things, his son will be the next HC whenever he hangs it up. Players and recruits have been saying Sean will be the next HC there for over a year now.
I actually got the rumor from College Football reddit where some KSU fans said they were hearing the same thing that he might step down. DT corroborated that so I thought the rumor was pretty legit. Apologies . Anyways I am glad he is still able to coach. Coaching legend who didn't deserve to go out that way.

He's coached for like a 100 years, I would have thought he would have more than 202 wins by now!
