Oregon will be hosting Texas Tech WR transfer Jonathan Giles in June. He was their leading receiver last year as a sophomore so would potentially be a big addition after he sits out for a year. Only issues are that he's got a lot of other suitors and is only 5'11", which would seemingly put him into contention with Oregon's potential glut of slot receivers.
Darn, too bad he couldn't be a potential addition for this year, because we could use it. I feel like with how many younger slot receivers we have right now, next season will be overflowing at the position. Talent is talent though, sign him up!

Pretty good highlights:
He could theoretically play outside (Josh Huff did at the same height), but he does seem to do most of his damage from the slot. I trust our coaches, though.

Oregon has made his final 3 and will be the last school he visits.
I hope he will choose Oregon, He will be a big addition to young WR groups and Herbert will have more weapons to choose to make a big plays.

Wasn't a position of need (we have a TON of slot guys) but it would have been nice.

they always have lots of talent at WR and NOBODY to get them the ball. I've always wondered why top WR's go there....I mean I understand why they get the OL and RB's they get but dang.

I think it has a lot to do with the success of former WRs in the NFL and that we run a pro style offence and not a spread. The fact that the don't get too worn down while playing here plays a facte too I think ,

That is an excellent way to frame that. Pick an LSU receiver - barely used. Only taken out by grandmas on Sundays to church and back.

There's that as well as I'm not so sure he was that fantastic. He lost his starting job mid-season. In the Ping-Pong offense slot is a focal point and supposed to get alot of touches. He'll have to be a much more disciplined route runner.
